We’re always excited to hear all your voices at OhmConnect. Our community has been building more excitement and passion about saving energy than ever before in California.
As our community grows, the current discussion board has had difficulty supporting the increasing number discussions and topics our members share. Updating this community discussion board has been a frequently requested improvement.
Today, we are happy to share some upcoming improvements to facilitate better conversations and help spread #OhmHour even further across the state. You can look forward to the following:
- Categorized discussions with threaded conversations
- Direct message capability
- User mentions (tagging other users in conversations with @username)
- Searchable content
- Customizable notifications
- Rich text formatting
Our hope is that with this new discussion board, the community will be able to share energy-saving tips and tricks, chat about sustainability, and help our team more effectively troubleshoot issues affecting the community.
We plan to migrate everyone to the new community discussion board next Thursday, August 4th. On this date, all new conversations will be directed to the new community board, although you will have access to old content on the legacy discussion board for one month.
Stay tuned for your invitation to the OhmConnect Community next week!
